McFadyn: We aren't sexist either. We're playing on women's rights during the last part of the last century. That's all. As for the lack of updates and other strange occurrences, we're sorry and we'll make it up to you. Basically we've been waiting on a website for some time now and we're sick of waiting, so here they all are. This blog will be the official unofficial space for LtB for at least the near future. We'll have a new start come next week, which means that every Tuesday and Friday you can expect a new LtB for your reading pleasure.

Let me just clarify some things so that I don't keep getting the same messages. I'm the artist. Jay's the writer. We're both brothers living on the sunny beaches of Canada. Alberta, Canada to be exact. I'm pretty open for chats or talks, so anything you guys want to ask is cool with me. Now art talk. The art seems all over the place I know, but its all about trying new things and seeing what works best. I tend to get a script from Jay and I just feel like a certain style of way of doing things fits best with the comic. So I'll be doing things as full pages as the one above, comic strips, our own way of doing strips (3 panels up and down) and so on. So if none of them look like they're from the same artist, too bad, cause they are all done by me. Most of the tools I use are: a toothbrush, steak knife, couple of brushes and speedball ink. I'll make a video sometime here to show you guys how I do what I do. A bunch of you have expressed some interest in that so I figure I'd give you what you asked for. Look for it soon.

Chops wanted to try something new for the art of this comic. He tried doing it all on his own. With that being said, he drew it much much smaller than he normally does (One panel per 8.5 x 11 as usual to all frames on one sheet of paper), he also tried to make it look sketchy yet still good like R. Crumb or Jeffrey Brown, and he also drew the panel borders himself.

So, yeah. Chops and I have decided to kinda work on another project for the next little while. He says he doesn't want to quit LTB but I can almost sense that it might happen. Chops said he'll have an update for you next week. Until then, here's some art from the upcoming project!

My favorite is the first one. The halftone dots just kept getting bigger and bigger until I didn't like them anymore. Ugh. I might have to redo some of the tones on these. But until then!

When someone famous dies, every webcomic feels obliged to make a comic about it. Here's our comic. Brokeback Mountain jokes are still cool, right? What? They aren't?! Oh... well then. So continues the world of "Louder Than Bombs". This is my way of dispatching the ladies of the night in a hastily fashion. It's not like they come up to me on a regular basis but I like to leave them with a fear of their "vocation".

As for comic news, we're still updating on schedule for two weeks which is a big change for us. Normally, we would update a month late or not at all. Be glad we did update for you, dear internet. I want that engraved on my epitaph.

Now for Rock Band.

I just got Rock Band today thanks to a friend bumping my pre-order. I am so grateful because playing this game is simply amazing. Here's my review of "Rock Band":

It feels like losing your virginity again.

Don't get me wrong. I know it sounds weird but allow me to explain myself. Answer these lines with "Rock Band" or sex.

1. Great to do sober but even more awesome while drunk.

2. You fear trying it for the first time because you don't want people to know how bad you are at it.

3. Sometimes you practice alone in your basement in hopes of getting better.

4. Something so wild and new that you just want to try every aspect of it.

5. A truly good team building/group activity.

If you couldn't place one or the other right away, that's because "Rock Band" is like sex except for after a pounding session of "Rock Band", cuddling isn't required afterwards.

This comic was drawn and written by Chris, my brother. Next week we're gonna have a strip that I've written and Chris has drawn again. Trust me, you don't want to see my doodles. I'm going to try and update every Sunday with potential extras throughout the week.

Time for a history lesson!

These comics came from me working the night shift at my work and having down time. I started by doing a series of comics called "Irony" and all the jokes pretty much turned out to be ironic. I say pretty much because some of them weren't. After I realized the irony jokes were limited I decided to try and do a more narrative type of story telling. Those comics were called "Louder Than Bombs". After drawing (poorly) 26 comics, I decided to take them to the people. Chris so graciously asked to work on them with me. I couldn't say no. With that being said, enjoy "Louder Than Bombs".
